Ultimate Street Z Gallery
This page is dedicated to the buildup of Ash'sZ-II. In
March of 2004, disaster struck: my original 1991 Z32 which
was purchased in 1999 and converted to twinturbo in 2001,
was rear-ended by a drunk driver and destroyed beyond repair.
Ironically, I purchased an identical Z32 - same color, slicktop,
1994 model, two weeks prior to this accident. This vehicle
is what has become "Ash'sZ-II", a completely built-to-the-hilt
"Ultimate Sreet Z".
I have broken down all of the steps taken in the process
of this project into sections below for easier viewing and
details to go with the images. Click image on the left to

Powerplant System Construction:
No holds barred. You name it, its been done, plus
some. This gallery contains the fabrication of many
various upgrade components in the powerplant system
including the engine build, intake system, exhaust
system, cooling system - anything related with the
production of power is in here.

Chassis Restoration:
The vehicle started as a 1994 100K mile non-turbo
slicktop - given that it has lived as an NA for its
life up to this point and was well taken care of by
previous owners, this chassis makes an excellent candidate
for a project Z. The slicktop chassis is some 200lbs
lighter than an NA chassis, and the additional structural
rigidity of having a slicktop vs. the t-top model
makes this the ultimate chassis to use.
